Uninstalling the Scanner Driver (USB Version)
This explains the procedure for uninstalling the scanner driver.
Prerequisites
When starting the computer, log on as a user with administrator privileges.
Make sure to remove the USB cable from the device and computer in advance.
Procedures
Uninstalling Version 2.36 or Later of the Scanner Driver
1.
Display [Apps] > [Installed apps] from [Settings] in the Start menu.
2.
Click [⋯] for [Color Network ScanGear 2 USB] → click [Uninstall].
Uninstalling Version 2.35 or Earlier of the Scanner Driver
1.
Double-click the [UnInstall.exe] icon in the following folder.
32 bit version: Color_Network_ScanGear_2\misc\USB\driver\english\32bit
64 bit version: Color_Network_ScanGear_2\misc\USB\driver\english\x64
2.
Click [OK] in the displayed dialog box.
3.
When the uninstallation completion message is displayed, click [OK].
