This section describes how to adjust image quality for printing.
<Adjust Print Position>

You can adjust the print position when printing is lopsided or protruding from the print range. Adjusting the Print Position
<High Density Mode>

Set this item to <On> if the print results are faint overall.
<Correct Background Density>
<Set>  <Adjustment/Maintenance>  <Adjust Image Quality>  <Special Processing>
Set this item if the printed paper is grayish overall. Set the mode according to the paper you are using.
<Streak Prevention>
<Set>  <Adjustment/Maintenance>  <Adjust Image Quality>  <Special Processing>
Set this item if there are streaks in the printed paper. <Mode 1> is the weakest, and <Mode 4> is the strongest.
<Reduce Toner Fixing Stain>

Set this item to <On> if there are black spots on the front or back side of the printed paper.
<Transfer Adjustment Mode>

Set this item to <On> if printed paper is faded in stripes.
<Curl Prevention Mode>

If the printed paper curls, set <On> for the paper source where the curling occurred.
<Auto Clean Pressure Roller>

This setting always cleans the rollers inside the machine. You can set this to <Off> if you are concerned with the operation sound that occurs after printing is finished, but black spots may appear on the printed paper.
<White Streak Prevention Mode>

Set this item if printed lines or edges are smudged.
<Adjust Paper Separation>
<Set>  <Adjustment/Maintenance>  <Adjust Image Quality>  <Special Processing>
Set this mode if paper jams occur when printing on one side of the following paper types.
[Thin]
[Plain 1]
[Color]
[Recycled 1]
[Letterhead 1]
If <Mode 2> is set, the correction effects becomes weaker, and it becomes stronger if <Mode 3> is set. If you select <Mode 1>, automatic adjustment is performed according to the environment.
<Adj. Paper Separation for 2-Sided Print.>

Set this item to <On> if paper jams occur when performing two-sided printing with [Plain L] or [Plain L2]. However, the print speed will be slower.
<Maintain Device Temp. While in Standby>

If data has not been received for a while, it may take some time before printing starts next because the internal temperature of the machine has decreased. If you select <On>, printing can be quickly performed because the internal temperature of the machine is maintained during standby.
<Adjust Standard Density>

If the density of the printing is significantly different from the original document, this adjusts the overall density of the printed material to be closer to the original, including filled areas, text, lines, and intermediate densities.
