<Paper Source Auto Selection>

You can configure the paper source that will be used when printing with <Select Paper> set to <Auto>. This setting also functions when the paper in the current paper source runs out during printing. Automatically Selecting the Appropriate Paper Source for a Specific Function

<Suspend Job When Multiple Sheet Feed Detected>

Multi-sheet feeding refers to feeding of multiple sheets of paper at a time from the paper feeding section. This setting enables you to set the machine to suspend the job when multi-sheet feeding is detected.

Depending on the size of paper or operation mode of the machine, paper may remain inside the machine. In this case, the job may not be restarted automatically.
When set to <Off>, because detected paper is output to the escape tray, the following pages may become out of order and incorrect output may be produced.

<Suspended Job Timeout>

If this setting is set to <On> and a job is suspended due to a lack of paper, etc., the machine automatically prints the next job after the specified time period.

If a job is suspended because paper has run out during the job, the next job is not processed even after the designated suspension time elapses.

If the automatic switch for the insertion unit is set to <On>, when the selected tray of the insertion unit runs out of paper during print job, the machine automatically selects another tray of the insertion unit and continues printing.
