[Scan Settings]

Specify the settings for scanning.
* Values in bold red text are the default settings for each item.

Select whether to give priority to speed or print quality when scanning originals.

Specify whether the machine automatically goes online (scan standby mode) when you are scanning from a computer.
If you specify [Off] in this setting, you must press [Scan] [Remote Scanner] in the control panel [Home] screen to bring the machine online before performing the scan.

Specify the amount of time where the machine remains online (Scan Standby Mode), but no scanning is performed. After the specified time, the machine is brought offline.
