Press Maintenance

Routine maintenance work such as cleaning and consumable replacement is required to ensure that the press can continue to be used safely and comfortably. If problems occur with the print quality, cleaning the parts inside the press may improve the print quality.
The following section also describes the maintenance processes that are performed automatically.
Before touching the printhead, make sure to touch the metal frame of the press. This enables you to discharge the static electricity in your body to prevent damage to the components.
IMPORTANT
When handling liquids other than pure water, such as work involving ink or cleaning solvent, make sure to wear commercially-available plastic gloves and protective goggles.
