PM (Print Module)

The PM ejects ink onto media for printing.

Ink pack tray

Stores the ink pack, conditioning liquid, and maintenance liquid.

Print belt

Transports media attached with suction. Also, it adjusts the timing of ink ejection and media transport.

Printhead

Ejects ink from the nozzle on the end of the printhead. Ink heated by the heater is ejected from the nozzle.

Media deformation detection unit

Detects media with curling or waving.

Ink waste container tray

Stores the ink waste container and waste conditioning liquid container.

Registration unit

Adjusts the position of the media being transported to correct skew.
