A maximum of three units of the PIM (Paper Input Module) can be used for paper feeding.

Paper Transport in the Paper Feed Process
Transports media when multiple units of the PIM (Paper Input Module) are connected.
Outputs double-fed sheets and sheets fed during a paper jam to the waste tray.
Transports media to the PM (Print Module).
Transports the media from the paper tray and media for two-sided printing.
Transports the media for two-sided printing.
Transports the media separated from the media stack by a belt.
