Orientation of an Original to Be Stapled and Setting the Staple Position (Option)

When using the staple function, make sure the original is loaded in the correct direction and the staple position is set correctly.

When Stapling the Corner of the Paper or Using Staple-Free (Corner)

When Stapling the Corner of the Paper or Using Staple-Free (Corner)

Place the original as shown below according to the actual position where to staple or use Staple-Free. When setting the staple position, set the position as viewed from the side of the original to be scanned.
The direction in which the original is placed and the staple position setting vary depending on the size of the original.

A4 or A5 Size Original

Use the same method when placing B5 size original in Asia/Oceania, or LTR size original in the Americas.
