Cleaning the Inside of the Machine
If the printout is smudged or is partially not printed, the inside of the machine may be dirty. In this case, clean the inside of the machine.
The inside of the machine cannot be cleaned when data is waiting to be printed or there is insufficient toner.

There are two types of cleaning inside the machine: cleaning inside the main unit and cleaning the pressure roller for fixing.
Cleaning inside the main unit
Perform this cleaning when the printed paper has streaks or is smudged, or when part of the image is not printed.

Required Preparations
Check that there is toner. Checking the Remaining Amount of Consumables and Parts

On the control panel, press [

When Cleaning the Pressure Roller for Fixing
Check that usable paper is loaded in the multi-purpose tray.

Press [Connect].
Cleaning starts.
When cleaning is complete, [Cleaning is complete.] is displayed.
When cleaning of the pressure roller for fixing is complete, a sheet of paper with a printed image (pattern) is output.
