Print Screen

The print screen is displayed when you press [Print] on the [Home] screen of the control panel.
On this screen, you can print documents on Forced Hold, Secure Print documents, or Encrypted Secure Print documents. You can also check the content or change the print settings of those documents and Scheduled Print documents.
[Personal], [Shared], and [Group]
From the pulldown menu, select the type of documents to display in the list.
[Personal]:
Displays the documents of the login user.
[Shared]:
Displays the documents on hold based on certain conditions.
* Documents displayed when [Shared] is selected can be viewed and printed by all users.
[Group]:
Displays the documents of the Department ID to which the login user belongs.
[Jobs to Be Printed], [Jobs Printed], and [Scheduled Print]
You can switch the document list by print status.
[]
Updates the document list.
Document List
The following documents are displayed in the list:
Forced Hold
Secure Print
Encrypted Secure Print
Scheduled Print
When you select a document, it is given a checkmark and a number. When you print multiple documents at the same time, the documents are printed in numerical order.
* You can select up to 100 documents at a time.
* By pressing [Date], you can sort the list order of the documents by date and time. If you are logged in to the machine, the list order will be retained when you log in the next time.
* Some documents may be given the following icons:
[]: Secure Print, Encrypted Secure Print, or encrypted PDF document
[]: Forced Hold document to which the warning display is applicable [Held Jobs Warning Settings]
[Select All (Max 100 jobs)] and [Clear Selection]
When you press [Select All (Max 100 jobs)] with no documents selected, all of the documents displayed in the list are selected.
When you press [Clear Selection] with one or more documents selected, all of their selection is cleared.
[No. of Copies]
Changes the number of print copies of the selected document.
[Print Settings] and [Print Set. for Selected Jobs]
You can check and/or change the print settings of the selected document.
* You can select multiple documents and change the print settings in batch. However, when any of the following documents are also selected, you cannot perform batch change:
Forced Hold documents
Secure Print documents
Encrypted Secure Print documents
Encrypted PDF documents
[Display Image]
You can display a preview screen of the selected document and check the content of the document.
You can also delete pages on the preview screen or print the document from the preview screen.
[Delete Job]
Deletes the selected document(s).
[Cancel Printing]
Cancels printing of the selected document(s).
[Start Printing]
Executes printing of the selected document(s).
* When printing a Forced Hold document to which the warning display is applicable, a warning screen is displayed. [Held Jobs Warning Settings]

Changing the Print Settings and Displaying a Preview Screen

Depending on the driver type being used when printing or the file format when performing Direct Print, you cannot perform some operations such as changing the print settings or displaying a preview screen.

*1 Operations are possible only when a Canon PS3 printer driver without PPD is used.
*2 Operations are possible only when a PCL6 (PCL XL) printer driver is used.
*3 The settings cannot be changed when multiple documents are selected.
*4 The settings cannot be changed for black and white data.
*5 The settings cannot be changed when a mix of different paper sizes are used.
*6 The settings can be changed only when the appropriate optional equipment is attached.
NOTE
If [Some jobs could not be stored after being received.] or [Some jobs have been deleted.] Appears
These messages appear if an error occurs while the document is being received or the document is deleted after the retention period has passed. You can clear the message by pressing [].
Restrictions When Printing from a Mobile Device
When you print documents on hold on the machine using the PrintRelease function of Canon PRINT Business, you cannot change the print settings in batch and you cannot delete pages on the preview screen.
