When You Want to Scan Blank Pages
If you also want to scan the back side of a 1-sided original or the blank pages of a 2-sided original, select [2-Sided Scan (Book Type)] or [2-Sided Scan (Calendar Type)] in the 2-sided scan settings for [Easy Scan and Send]/[Easy Scan]. Sending with Easy Scan and Send/Easy Scan

Select [2-Sided Scan (Book Type)] or [2-Sided Scan (Calendar Type)] in the 2-sided scan settings for [Easy Scan and Send]/[Easy Scan]. Sending with Easy Scan and Send/Easy Scan
Unnecessary Pages Are Scanned.
When Blank Pages Are Scanned
Clean the document feed scanning area. Cleaning the Feeder If that does not work, perform the following operation:
Check the scan size of the scanned data, and take action according to the status.
When you place a custom size original, you can select [Free Size] in the scan size setting for [Easy Scan and Send]/[Easy Scan] to scan at the same size as the original. Sending with Easy Scan and Send/Easy Scan
When you specify a particular original size or Long Sheet, set the original size and use [Scan and Send] to perform scanning.
When you select [Color] in the color settings for [Easy Scan and Send]/[Easy Scan], the machine scans in color, regardless of the color of the original.
When you specify [Black & White] in the color settings for [Easy Scan and Send]/[Easy Scan], the machine scans in black and white, regardless of the color of the original.
