Using SQL Server

This section describes the settings required to use SQL Server as the database of this software.
The flow of operations is indicated below.

Installing SQL Server

Configuring the Initial Settings of SQL Server

Configure the settings required to connect to the computer where SQL Server is running.
These initial settings are not required if the Manager of this software and SQL Server are running on the same computer.

Configuring the Authentication Mode of SQL Server

Select whether to use SQL Server authentication or Windows authentication.

Configuring Windows Authentication

To use Windows authentication, configure the Active Directory user that will connect to SQL Server.
This operation is not required when using SQL Server authentication.

Creating the Database for This Software

Configure the user for logging in to the database for this software, and the database itself.

Connecting This Software to SQL Server

Install this software, and configure the settings for connecting to SQL Server.
