This section describes the preparations for installing this software.
Checking the Operation Environment of the Computer
Check the system requirements for the computer where this software will be installed.
Confirming the Information Required for Installation
Confirm the following information to set during installation.
IP address or FQDN (fully qualified domain name) of the computer where this software will be installed
Port numbers that can be used by this software
The default values of the port numbers used by this software are indicated below.
Port numbers/protocols used for accessing this software from a Web browser: 443/HTTPS
Port number used for receiving events from devices: 47545

The port numbers can be changed. If another application is using these port numbers, decide port numbers for this software to use. |
Creating an Authentication Information File (Keytab File) for Proxy Server Connection
If all the following conditions apply, an authentication information file (keytab file) is required to enable this software to connect to the proxy server.
HTTPS is used as the protocol for communicating with the Remote Monitoring Server
The Cloud Connection Agentfunction is monitoring a device with [CCA Mode]
A proxy server is used to connect to the Internet and Windows domain authentication is used when connecting to the proxy server

If the computer where this software operates does not belong to the same domain as the proxy server, only Basic authentication can be used for proxy server authentication. In this case, a keytab file is not required. |
Confirm that the settings on the Remote Monitoring Server are complete
Before installing this software, confirm that the settings on the Remote Monitoring Server are complete.
If devices with the Cloud Connection Agent function are connected to the Remote Monitoring Server via a standalone connection, perform the following operations to connect the devices via this software.
1.
Delete the devices registered to the Remote Monitoring Server via a standalone connection.
2.
Register the RDS version for this software to the Remote Monitoring Server.
3.
Register the devices to the Remote Monitoring Server again as devices monitored by this software.
