Adjust the actions of the optional finisher and the machine's finishing functions.

Reposition the staples of the saddle stitch unit so that stapling can be performed. Remove any paper output to the booklet tray before performing this operation.
Perform this operation if stapling is not performed after you remove jammed staples or replace the staple case. When you perform this operation, the machine feeds paper to the saddle stitch unit and staples it several times.

Depending on the installed option, the productivity of the machine may be reduced if this mode is set to [120 mm] or [4_3/4"].

The copied or printed paper may shrink because of temperature, humidity, or a characteristic of the paper type. In this case, this mode enables you to align copied or printed papers by adjusting the position of the alignment guide inside the finisher so as to staple the aligned papers.

If you select [Productivity Priority], edges of saddle folded output paper may not be aligned.
