[Special Processing]

Use a range of processes to resolve problems that arise due to factors such as the paper type, the material used, or its condition.
* Values in red text indicate the default setting for each item.

Set this item for when a splattered image, white patches, streaks appear on the halftone images of two-sided print jobs.
* If you set this to [On], the printing speed may become slower.

If toner is lightly applied to an unprinted area (white area), you may be able to correct it by setting this item.
* If [Mode 1] is set, the correction effects becomes weaker, and it becomes stronger if [Mode 2] is set. However, the toner density on the output may become lighter when [Mode 2] is set.

When printing on envelopes, if their flaps are glued (which they should not be) or toner fixation is poor, you can adjust the fixing level.
If the envelope flap is glued, set the fixing level to [Low].
If toner is not fixed to envelopes well enough, set the fixing level to [High].

Set this item to improve the print result when the image is faint because insufficient toner is fixed to the paper.
