Associating IPP Printing Information with Users
You can associate users registered to the local device with user information that uses IPP printing and manage that user information.
* You can still operate IPP printing without configuring these settings.
Configuring the User Information (User)
Configure this setting using Remote UI from a computer. You cannot use the control panel to configure the setting.

Log in to Remote UI.
Starting Remote UI2
On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration].

Click [User Management]

[Authentication Management].
The [Change User Information] screen is displayed.

Configure the user information in [IPP Print Information].
Enter a user name or e-mail address used for IPP printing in [User Name or E-Mail Address for IPP Print].

Click [Update].
The settings are applied.

Log out from Remote UI.
Configuring the User Information (Administrator)
Configure this setting using Remote UI from a computer. You cannot use the control panel to configure the setting.
Administrator privileges are required.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator.

The [User Management] screen is displayed.

Click [Edit] for the user whose information you want to configure.
The [Edit User Information] screen is displayed.
If the user is not registered, click [Add User] instead of [Edit], and specify [IPP Print Information] when registering the new user information.

Specify the user information in [IPP Print Information].
Enter a user name or e-mail address used for IPP printing in [User Name or E-Mail Address for IPP Print].

Click [Update].
The settings are applied.

Log out from Remote UI.
Configuring Batch Settings Using a CSV File (Administrator)
You can edit a CSV file to associate users registered to the local device with user information that uses IPP printing.
Configure this setting using Remote UI from a computer. You cannot use the control panel to configure the setting.
Administrator privileges are required.

Log in to Remote UI as an administrator.
Starting Remote UI2
On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration].

Click [User Management]

[Authentication Management]

[IPP Print Settings].
The [IPP Print Settings] screen is displayed.

Click [Start Export] and save the CSV file to the computer.
If no user information associated with IPP printing has been registered, click [Add Association] to add a user associated with IPP printing, and then click [Start Export].

Edit the exported CSV file.
Enter the name of the user registered to the local device in "uid."
Enter a user name or e-mail address used for IPP printing in "ipp_user_name."

Click [Import].
The [Import Associations] screen is displayed.

In [File Path], click [Choose File] to specify the edited CSV file.

Click [Start Import].
The file is imported.

After the import is completed, log out from Remote UI.
