For a 1-sided original, select <1-Sided Scan> for the 2-sided original settings in <Easy Scan>.

When You Only Want to Scan One Side of a 2-Sided Original

Size Is Not As Expected.

Check the scan size of the scanned data, and take action according to the status.

If you set a nonstandard size original, select <Free Size> for the scan size in <Easy Scan> to scan with the same size as the original.

To specify a certain original size, do so on the <Scan and Send> screen, then scan the original.
Configuring the Detailed Settings When Sending

Results Are Not in Color or Black & White As Expected.

Check the color of the scanned data, and take action according to the status. Sending Documents on the Easy Scan Screen

If you select <Color> for the color mode in <Easy Scan>, the original is scanned in color regardless of whether it is color or black-and-White.

If you select <Black & White> for the color mode in <Easy Scan>, the original is scanned in black-and-white regardless of whether it is color or black-and-White.

With the Easy Scan screen, you can quickly and easily scan originals. To configure more detailed settings, such as specifying the file format or sending to a destination not registered in the address book, scan the original with the <Scan and Send> screen.
