Correcting Uneven Gloss (For 8100 Series and 4100 Series Only)
For 8100 Series
When the temperature of the pressure rollers rise excessively and uneven gloss occurs, adjust the temperature rise level of the pressure roller.
For 4100 Series
When uneven gloss occurs on printed images, perform correction to reduce uneven gloss.
Use the control panel to configure the settings. You cannot configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.

On the control panel, press [

Press [Adjustment/Maintenance]

Correct uneven gloss.
For 8100 Series
Set the correction level, and press [OK].
* Changing this setting significantly may have an effect on the paper curl.
For 4100 Series
Select [On], and press [OK].
* Depending on the paper, the productivity of the machine may be reduced if this mode is set to [On].
