安装 USB Agent

本节介绍安装 USB Agent 的步骤。
当使用本软件管理通过 USB 连接的打印机时，请将 USB Agent 安装至本地打印机连接的计算机。
须知
安装 USB Agent 的计算机，必须包含在从 [System] 菜单的 [Agents] 页面显示的任一 Agent 的 [Agent Details] 页面内的 [Device IPv4 Addresses] 或 [FQDN for Devices (Do Not Include Device Name)] 中。详情请参见下文。
配置 Agent
1.
以具有管理员权限的用户身份登录运行 Agent 的计算机。
2.
从 Web 浏览器访问本软件，并以系统管理员的身份登录。
3.
选择 [System] 菜单 > [Agents]。
4.
单击 [Download USB Agent Installer]。
将“usbagent_installer.zip”文件保存到您选择的文件夹中。
解压缩 zip 文件的内容。
5.
执行“usbagent_installer.msi”文件。
若未解压 zip 文件直接执行 usbagent_installer.msi文件，将无法安装 USB Agent。
6.
在 [Welcome to the iWEMC USB Agent Setup Wizard] 屏幕中，单击 [Next]。
7.
选择 [I accept the terms in the license agreement]，然后单击 [Next]。
8.
在 [Install in] 中指定安装的目标文件夹，然后单击[Next]。
9.
在 [Retrieval Interval (in Hours)]中，输入从本地打印机检索信息的时间间隔。
输入一个 1 到 24 之间的值。
以指定的时间间隔定期从本地打印机检索信息。
10.
选择是否执行证书验证。
选中 [Verify the agent certificate] 复选框，在 USB Agent 向 Agent 发送信息时验证 Agent 证书。
注释
如需执行证书验证，必须在安装 USB Agent 的计算机中注册有效证书，并且将该证书配置为可供 USB Agent 使用。有关证书注册的相关信息详见下文。
配置加密通信的证书
11.
在 [Ready to Install iWEMC USB Agent] 屏幕中，单击 [Install]。
如果显示 [User Account Control] 对话框，请单击 [Continue] 或 [Yes]。
12.
在 [Completed the iWEMC USB Agent Setup Wizard] 屏幕中，单击 [Finish]。
