This operation can also be performed with the tool buttons on the toolbar. If tool buttons are not displayed on the toolbar of Desktop Editor, see the following to display them.
When you want to insert markers multiple times, double-click (Marker) on the Details Window. When you double-click the button, it is locked while being selected and markers can be inserted multiple times.
Perform one of the following operations to cancel the button selection.
Click the selected button on the Details Window again
Click another button on the Details Window
Click a command on the ribbon
Press the [Esc] key on the keyboard.
You can click (Insert Multiple) on the ribbon to insert multiple annotations. For more information, see the following.

Select the color you want to use to fill from the list displayed when you click . When you want to use a color that is not available in the list, select [More Colors].

If you select [More Colors], the [Color] dialog box is displayed and you can set a color that is not listed in [Shape Fill].

To cancel the insertion process, do one of the following.
Click (Select Object) on the ribbon
Click (Select Text) on the ribbon
Click (Grab Mode) on the ribbon
Click the command selected on the ribbon again
Click (Select Object) on the Details Window
Click (Select Text) on the Details Window
Click (Grab Mode) on the Details Window
Click the selected button on the Details Window again
Press the [Esc] key on the keyboard

You can insert a square marker by dragging the mouse while holding down the [Shift] key on the keyboard.
When dragging the mouse from the starting insertion point to the ending point, drag it diagonally to create a rectangle.
Because markers are drawn semitransparent, even if a marker is placed in front, other inserted annotations and the document behind it remains visible.
