Desktop Browser Screen Layout
The screen of Desktop Browser consists of seven "bars" and four "panes." In addition, search results are displayed on a separate screen.
Panes
Areas of the Desktop Browser screen mainly used for displaying are called "panes."
Navigation Pane
The navigation pane is used to organize multiple libraries and list the folder structure inside libraries. It also enables you to list saved search conditions.
When the [Libraries] tab is displayed, a tree is displayed for libraries, checkout folders, and My Tray folders. By selecting the [Search Conditions] tab, the saved search conditions are displayed.
File List View Pane
Shows the contents of the folder selected in the
Navigation Pane as icons or in a list display. The contents displayed in the file list view pane can be sorted by selecting the [View] menu > [Sort By]. When you are displaying a list, you can sort the entries in ascending or descending order by clicking a detailed display item. Up to 50 hierarchy levels and 5,000 items can be displayed.
You can also add memos to documents in the File List View Pane.

You can return the File List View Pane to the previous display with , or move forward with .

Preview Pane
Shows the preview of a document selected in the
File List View Pane.
Properties Pane
Displays the information (properties) of a document or folder selected in the
Navigation Pane or
File List View Pane.

Items other than the File List View Pane can be shown and hidden with tool buttons. If you hide a pane, the other panes are displayed larger.
You can resize Desktop Browser screen and other panes by dragging with the mouse.
You can resize the Desktop Browser screen by dragging the four corners of the Desktop Browser screen.

Search Screen
Provides the items for configuring detailed search conditions, performing a search, and saving search conditions.
The Search Screen is displayed in a different screen when
on the Toolbar is pressed.

Clicking (Display in Front of Browser) displays the search screen in front of Desktop Browser at all times.

Bars
Areas of the Desktop Browser screen mainly used for operations and with items arranged horizontally or vertically are called "bars."
Menu Bar
Offers menu items for managing libraries and sites, handling documents and folders saved in libraries, handling documents saved in My Tray, and specifying settings for displaying Desktop Browser.
Address Bar
Shows the path of a selected library, My Tray, or folder. Changes the displayed contents of
File List View Pane such as [Back], [Forward], [Up One Level], and [Refresh].
Simple Search Bar
Provides the bar for entering a keyword(s) and performing a simple search.
Toolbar
Offers buttons for handling documents and folders saved in libraries, handling documents saved in My Tray, and showing/hiding panes. You can also show/hide the buttons on the Toolbar.
Input Bar
Enables you to configure a personal button on the custom menu of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE.
Output Bar
Enables you to configure settings for linkage with applications and hardware devices. You can also use it for circulating documents specifying shared folders.
Status Bar
Displays the number of selected files when selecting files in the
File List View Pane. Displays the total number of folders and files in the
File List View Pane when not selecting files.
Displays the number of search results or login user name of SharePoint Server Library as well. When the license is authenticated by the site license, the customer information (e.g., company name) is also displayed.
