Displaying the Status of Printer Output Icon

You can configure the settings to display the status of printers registered in the Output Bar of Desktop Browser.
1.
Select the [Tools] menu > [Output Bar Settings] > [Settings] > the printer to specify the status display on the output icon > [Change].
Or, right-click the (printer output icon), and select [Change].
The [Printer Settings] dialog box is displayed.
2.
Select the [Display device status] check box, and click [OK].
The status of the printer is displayed in (printer output icon).
Note
The following conditions must be met in order to select [Display device status].
A port for application is assigned for the printer to monitor.
Desktop is launched.
The printer to monitor is a Canon device or an LPR device (which uses the LPR protocol to print via the network) that supports standard MIB.
