Configuring the Status Display of Printer Monitor

You can configure Printer Monitor to display the status of the default printer in the main icon in the task tray.
Note
You can monitor the status of the printer/fax to which the application-enabled port has been specified using Desktop Monitor Setup. For more information on how to specify an application-enabled port, see the following.
When installing a Canon printer driver, do not change the status display settings.

Note
For details on the status display, see the following.
In cases such as when the default printer normally used by other users is removed, or if the default printer cannot be monitored, restart Printer Monitor or reconfigure the default printer settings.
An application may temporarily switch to another printer from the default printer and it may not be notified. In this case, switching of the monitor target will not be performed; therefore the printer will not be monitored.
