Dividing a Page

With Document Binder, you can divide a page in a binder document horizontally or vertically to create separate pages.
Portrait sheets (including square sheets) are aligned vertically, and landscape sheets are aligned horizontally when dividing a page.
In addition, refer to the following as necessary.

Click (Page) for the page that you want to divide in the [Page Tree] list in the Navigation Pane.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
In the Preview Pane, select the page you want to divide
In the Preview Pane, click and drag the mouse pointer to select all the pages you want to divide
If the [Page Tree] list is not displayed, see the following.
Note
By clicking (Document) in the [Page Tree] list, you can select all pages included in every chapter.
By clicking (Chapter) in the [Page Tree] list, you can select all the pages included in a chapter.

Click (Divide Original Page) on the Toolbar.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Select the [Edit] menu > [Divide Original Page].
Right-click and select [Divide Original Page].
The selected page is divided horizontally or vertically.

In the following cases, the display will be divided along with the pages.
Annotations on the selected page (added with Annotation Editor)
Objects (added with Object Layout Editor)
You can divide a page as many times as you want as long as the size of the page is larger than 97.0 mm x 145.7 mm (3 13/16 inch x 5 47/64 inch).
The page is divided into two separate pages that are automatically assigned different page numbers.
If you edit a divided page by using Object Layout Editor or Annotation Editor, the results of your editing are reflected only on that page.
Additionally, if you export the page in PDF format, the page is saved as another divided page.
In the following cases, the pages are shown as divided on the Document Binder screen, however when printing or exporting a PDF, the page is output as its size before division.
The page contains digital stamps from Annotation Editor
If a page containing annotations added from another application is divided
When pages with digital signatures added from [Annotation Editor] are divided, the number of signatures will double.
If a variable field is set in a page, that variable field is deleted when dividing.
You can undo and redo the last operation by selecting [Undo]/[Redo] in the [Edit] menu.
If buttons are not displayed on the Document Binder Toolbar, set the buttons on the Toolbar. For more information, see the following.
