Specifying a Printer

You can specify a printer to use in both the print layout settings and for printing in the Print Settings Pane in the Document Binder screen.

Note
The configured printer is saved as printer information for the binder document, and as a set with the document. When you create a new binder document, the printer specified at the last session of Document Binder is set in the Print Settings Pane and the [Same as Original] of the print template is applied to the print settings.

When you specify a Canon printer, Document Binder retrieves the information of the specified printer and only makes the items supported by the specified printer available in the Print Settings Pane.

In addition, the print preview is updated according to the specified printer.

Cautions and Restrictions

Select a printer to use from the list displayed when you click [Printer Name] in the Print Settings Pane.

A confirmation message is displayed.

The list displays printers available in the computer you are using.

If the confirmation message is displayed, click [Yes].

When you select a Canon printer, the [Use print settings of Document Binder] option is displayed. If you deselect the [Use print settings of Document Binder] check box, only the following items are displayed in the [Print Settings] tab. All other items are not displayed.
