Specifying the Binding Location

With Document Binder, the binding location for printing binder documents can be specified.

Note
When a Canon printer is selected and [Use print settings of Document Binder] is selected, these settings can be configured. The binding location setting is saved together with the binder document as the print setting information of the binder document.

In addition, refer to the following as necessary.

Select the binding location from [Binding Location] in the [Print Settings] tab of the Print Settings Pane.

Note
The setting items in [Binding Location] vary depending on the printer selected in [Printer Name] and the setting of [Output Paper Orientation].

Click [Gutter Settings], then change the gutter settings.

[Gutter]	Sets the print area.
[Adjust Print Area]	Adjusts the print area.
[Reduce to match the [Gutter] settings]	Reduces the document to fit the print area according to the gutter settings.
[Shift to match the [Gutter] settings]	Moves the entire document without reducing it, according to the width set in the gutter settings. Therefore, some of the document may not be printed, depending on the document.

Click [OK].
