Configuring Stapling for the Entire Document

This section describes how to configure the staple mode for the entire document.
Note
When a Canon printer is selected and [Use print settings of Document Binder] is selected, these settings can be configured.
The staple setting is saved together with the binder document as the print setting information of the binder document.
When the print location of the header/footer overlaps with the staple or hole punch position, adjust the print position by setting the gutter with the printer properties.
In addition, refer to the following as necessary.
1.
Select the stapling range for the document from [Staple] in the [Print Settings] tab on the [Print Settings] pane.
By selecting [Entire Document], you can set stapling for the entire document.
By selecting [Each Chapter], you can set stapling for each chapter.
By selecting [Same Pages], you can set stapling for the same pages in multiple copies.
The preview area is updated with the stapling position set to the initial setting.
2.
Select the stapling position from [Staple Position].
The Preview Pane is updated according to the selected stapling position.

The settings in [Staple] are canceled in the following cases.
