In order to display the print job status in Quick Printing Tool, you need to configure the view settings. For more information on this procedure, see the following.

(Transmitting)
|
This is displayed during the period from the beginning of spooling executed by the Windows spooler to the completion of sending the print job to a device.
When the mouse pointer is placed over it, the status message <Transmitting> is displayed.
|
(Transmitted)
|
This is displayed during the period from the completion of transmitting a print job to a device to the completion of printing the print job in the device.
When the mouse pointer is placed over it, the status message <Transmitted> is displayed.
|
(Error)
|
Displayed in the following cases.
When an error occurs on a device processing a job between the start of the Windows spooler spooling to when the device finishes printing.
When the device status cannot be confirmed due to network trouble or the power being turned off
When the mouse pointer is placed over it, the status message <Error> is displayed.
|
(Printing Paused/Locked)
|
Displayed in the following cases.
When a job stops processing due to a stop command being issued between the start of spooling in Windows spooler until the job starts being transferred to the device.
When a job stops processing due to a command from the device control panel or Remote UI
When the device is waiting for the password for secured printing to be entered
When the mouse pointer is placed over it, the status message <Printing Paused/Locked> is displayed.

When multiple fax transmission jobs exist, their job statuses are displayed in the following order of priority.
Error > Printing Paused/Locked > Transmitting > Transmitted
