Configuring the Device Status Display

You can configure to display the status of the device set in Quick Printing Tool.
Note
You can only monitor devices to which an application-enabled port has been specified using Desktop Monitor Setup. For more information on how to specify an application-enabled port, see the following.
If an application-enabled port is not configured, select [Display the device status], then click [OK] in the settings to automatically change the port.
In addition, refer to the following as necessary.

Right-click Quick Printing Tool and select [iR-ADV Desktop Quick Printing Tool Settings].
The [imageRUNNER ADVANCE Desktop Quick Printing Tool Settings] dialog box is displayed.

Click the [Notification Settings] tab.

Select the [Display the device status] check box, and click [OK].
If the device is not specified as an application-enabled port, click [Yes] when the confirmation message is displayed to convert it into an application-enabled port.
The print/sent fax job status display method is configured.
Note
When you select the [Display the device status] check box, the device status icon is displayed in Quick Printing Tool. The device status icon indicates the status of the device set in Quick Printing Tool. For more information on device status icons, see the following.
If the device set in Quick Printing Tool cannot be monitored because it has been deleted by another user, etc., restart Printer Monitor or set Quick Printing Tool again.
If converting the device into an application-enabled port fails, you can not monitor the status of sent print/fax jobs in the specified device.
