Checking a Device Signature/User Signature Certificate

You cannot press [Confirm Device Signature Certificate] if the certificate and key pair for adding a device signature have not been generated. For more information on the certificate and key pair for adding a device signature, see "Setting/Confirming a Key Pair and Device Certificate."

You cannot press [Confirm User Signature Certificate] if the certificate and key pair for adding a user signature have not been installed. For more information on installing a user certificate, see "Installing a Certificate File."

Confirming the Device Signature Certificate
This section explains how a general user can check the certificate required for sending a PDF or XPS file with a device signature.
You can only check the device certificate with the following procedure. For more information on how the System Manager can confirm the key pair and device certificate information, see
"Setting/Confirming a Key Pair and Device Certificate."
For information on the optional products required to use this function, see
"Optional Products Required for Each Function."

Press [Management Settings] → [Device Management] → [Confirm Device Signature Certificate].
To verify a certificate, press [Certificate].

Press [OK].
Checking a User Signature Certificate
This section explains how a general user can check the certificate required for sending a PDF or XPS file with a user signature.
You can only check the user certificate for the logged in general user with the following procedure. For information on how the system manager can check the key pair and user certificate for all of the general users, see
"Confirming a Key Pair and User Certificate."
