Trouble Receiving Fax Documents

Delete documents with transmission errors to make more memory available.

Is an RX password set in [Fax Settings] in your machine?
If an <RX Password> is set in Fax Settings, documents can be received only from senders that use the correct password. Confirm this with your administrator.

Are the forwarding conditions set correctly?
Check the Forwarding Conditions, and inform the sender of those settings.

Is Forwarding Settings set to 'On' using [Validate/Invalidate]?
Forwarding Settings must be set to 'On' to be effective. Press [Validate/Invalidate] for [Forwarding Settings] → set Forwarding Settings to 'On'.

The Quality of Printed Originals Is Uneven.
Is the platen glass of the sender's machine clean?
Make a few copies using your machine. If the copies are not streaked, the problem is in the sending party's machine. Contact the sender and ask them to send the document again.
