Copying Problems

Copies Are Hardly Readable and Reproduced Poorly.

Copy is too light or has uneven density.
Copy has vertical white streaks.
Copy is spotted or dirty.
Copy is skewed.
Toner does not fix onto paper well.

The Copy Output is Skewed.

Adjust the document guides to fit the document.
"Placing Documents in the Feeder"
Make sure that the number or type of paper you are using is proper.
"Supported Paper Types"
Adjust the paper guides to the paper. If the problem continues, load the paper with the other side of paper face up, or in another orientation.
"Loading Paper in the Paper Cassette"
Make sure that the document return tray or output tray is not full.

Documents Cannot Be Scanned.

Up to thirty documents can be loaded in the feeder. The thirty-first and subsequent documents are not scanned.
