Configuring Share Print Server Settings

This explains the procedure for setting a computer connected to a device as a print server. To use it as a print server, install Canon Driver Information Assist Service and configure the printer share settings.
Also, when computers on the same network as the print server (clients) are connected to the print server, you can set them to automatically download an alternate driver from the print server. An alternate driver is a driver that enables clients with different operating systems to the print server to use the shared printer.

Prerequisites

When starting the computer, log on as a user with administrator privileges.
