[User Information Settings] Dialog Box
Enables you to set a user name for print data and a PIN (password) for secured printing.

Descriptions of Settings
[User Name]
Enables you to specify the user name for secured printing.
[PIN for Secured Print]/[Password for Secured Print]
Enter a PIN or password of up to 7 numbers.
[Always Confirm User Information When Performing Secured Print]
Displays a dialog box for confirming the document name, user name, and PIN (password) when executing secured printing.
[Confirm User Name When Printing]
When this setting is selected, the [Confirm User Name] dialog box is displayed when printing, and printing is executed with the entered user name.
[Display Previously Entered Information When Confirming]
When selected, the user name and PIN you entered last time are automatically displayed in the [Confirm User Information] dialog box or [Confirm PIN] dialog box displayed when printing.
[User Name Management]/[Default Value Settings]
Enables you to configure the default settings for the user name and PIN (password).

Required condition: A computer with full control permission for the printer.

[Name Set for User Name]
Enables you to specify the Windows logon name, computer name, or any desired name for the user name.
[PIN for Secured Print]/[Password for Secured Print]
Enter a PIN or password of up to 7 numbers.
[Always Confirm User Information When Performing Secured Print]
Displays a dialog box for confirming the document name, user name, and PIN (password) when executing secured printing.
[Confirm User Name When Printing]
When this setting is selected, the [Confirm User Name] dialog box is displayed when printing, and printing is executed with the entered user name.
[Do Not Allow User Name Changes]
Prohibits changes to the user name in the [User Information Settings] dialog box.
[Fix [User Information Settings]-[Always Confirm User Information When Performing Secured Print] Setting]
Fixes the [Always Confirm User Information When Performing Secured Print] setting to the setting configured in the [Default Value Settings] dialog box.
[Fix [User Information Settings]-[Confirm User Name When Printing] Setting]
Fixes the [Confirm User Name When Printing] setting to the setting configured in the [User Name Management]/[Default Value Settings] dialog box.
