Descriptions of Settings
[Font Substitution Table]
Enables you to select settings for replacing TrueType fonts with printer fonts.
[Output Protocol]
Select a transmission format for PS data to be sent from the printer driver.

If you are using a printer on a network, selecting [Binary] is recommended.

[Send CTRL-D before each Job]
When the job completion code Ctrl+D is sent, a check mark is attached at the beginning of the job. Ctrl+D notifies the printer that printing of the current job is finished, and resets the printer.
[Send CTRL-D after each Job]
When the job completion code Ctrl+D is sent, a check mark is attached at the end of the job. Ctrl+D notifies the printer that printing of the current job is finished, and resets the printer.
[Convert Gray Text to PostScript]
Prints gray data using only black (K) toner.
[Add Euro Currency Symbol to PostScript Fonts]
Replaces the PostScript font with the Euro currency symbol so that it is reliably printed.
[Job Timeout]
Sets the time period until a timeout error is generated when a print job is sent from the computer to the device.
[Wait Timeout]
Sets the time period until a print job\ completion response is sent from the device to the computer.
[Minimum Font Size to Download as Outline]
Fonts that are larger that the set value are replaced by outlines when downloaded.
[Maximum Font Size to Download as Bitmap]
Fonts that are smaller than the set value are replaced by bitmaps when downloaded.
