If a screen prompting you to change a System Manager PIN is displayed, change a PIN by following the procedures described in "Specifying the System Manager Settings," and then set this function to 'On'.
Press [Off] → [OK] to disable setting the machine from the Remote UI.
Press [On] for <Use TLS> to use TLS communication.
Select [On] for <Use Reference Print> to allow printing by entering it URL.
NOTE
Before setting <Use TLS> to 'On', it is necessary to set a default key in [Preferences] (Settings/Registration). (See "Settings for Utilizing TLS.")
Any changes made to <Use TLS> are also applied to [Use TLS] in [MEAP Settings] in [Management Settings] (Settings/Registration). (See "MEAP Settings.")
When the login service is set to Default Authentication and [Department ID Management] is set to 'Off' but the System Manger ID is specified:
Specify each setting → press [Next].
Specify each setting for access by general users → press [OK].
Press [Allow] to allow access by general users, or press [Do Not Allow] not to allow access by general users.
When you press [Allow], to set a PIN if necessary, press [Access PIN].
When settings other than above are specified:
Specify each setting → press [OK].

Changes are only effective after you restart the machine (the main power switch is turned OFF, and then back ON). For instruction on restarting (turning the main power switch OFF and then ON) the machine, see "Before You Start Using This Machine."
