<Paper Size Group for Auto Recognition in Drawer>

<Register Envelope Drawer> (4700 Series Only)
(Settings/Registration) <Preferences> <Paper Settings>You can use the paper drawer 2 as an envelope cassette, if you attach the Envelope Feeder Attachment-D, set the size switch to the appropriate envelope type.
This mode can be set when the Envelope Feeder Attachment-D is attached.

This procedure is necessary only if the Envelope Feeder Attachment-D is attached to the paper drawer 2. Make sure that you change the envelope settings according to the procedures described here before changing the settings of the envelope drawer (Loading Paper). Otherwise, the machine may not recognize the changes you have made. |
Registering the Envelope Types in the Envelope Switches

3 | Select <ENV.1> or <ENV.2> select the envelope type <OK>.Make sure that the selected envelope type is the same envelope type that is loaded in the paper drawer 2. |
<Register Favorite Paper (Multi-Purpose Tray)>

If you use various types of paper in the multi-purpose tray, select <Always Specify>. <Register Custom Size>
