You can configure the paper source that will be used when printing with <Select Paper> set to <Auto>. This setting also functions when the paper in the current paper source runs out during printing.

When regularly using paper with logos such as letterheads, while printing in both one-sided and two-sided, you can set this setting to <Print Side Priority> to print the first page on the front side for both one-sided and two-sided, without having to change the paper orientation.

Specify this setting to reduce operation noise when feeding paper from the main unit paper drawer. Reduced operation noise can be expected when the following conditions are met.
Paper source: Main unit paper drawer
Paper size: A3
Paper type: Plain 3 and letterhead 3
<Mode 1>: | This setting reduces operation noise when using Plain 3 or Letterhead 3 paper. It changes the paper feeding operation to reduce operation noise. |
<Mode 2>: | This setting reduces operation noise for all paper types. It changes the paper feeding operation to reduce operation noise. |
<Mode 3>: | This setting reduces operation noise when using Plain 3 or Letterhead 3 paper. Operation is quieter than <Mode 1> but productivity is lower. |
<Mode 4>: | This setting reduces operation noise for all paper types. Operation is quieter than <Mode 2> but productivity is lower. |

Check the paper weight.When using paper that is 91 g/m2 to 120 g/m2 (Plain 3 or Letterhead 3): Set <Mode 1> and check the operation noise when feeding paper from the main unit paper drawer. If you want quieter operation, you can change to <Mode 3> to further reduce the operation noise, but productivity will be lower. When using paper that is 75 g/m2 to 90 g/m2 (Plain 2, Letterhead 2, or Recycled 2): Set <Mode 2> and check the operation noise. If you want quieter operation, you can change to <Mode 4> to further reduce the operation noise, but productivity will be lower. |

This enables you to insert the specified paper at the start of each job when multiple jobs are printed consecutively.

If you are using the Group (Same Pages) mode, you cannot insert job separation sheets between copy sets.

A job that has a higher set priority can be set to print after the job currently being processed is complete.

If the same printing priority has been specified for multiple functions, printing starts with the first processed print job. Priority printing does not take place until the current job is complete. However, if the current job is paused, the printing of another job may start, depending on its settings.
