Email Print for Guests (Printing without User Registration)

The Email print function can be used without performing user registration.

Step 1: Sending the Data to Print via E-mail

On the Home screen, press [Print from Email].

Make a note of the e-mail address displayed on the screen.
If you are using a mobile device, you can scan the QR code to specify the destination.
You can use the same e-mail address to print from the same multifunction printer again.

Attach the file you want to print to an e-mail and send it to the e-mail address that you made a note of in step 2.
You can attach multiple files. (A maximum of 10 files)
A maximum of 100 MB can be sent via e-mail. (The total size of the e-mail body and the attachments, before sending)
A subject and body are not required, but if a body is entered, it is displayed in the job list when printing.
The body is displayed in the print job list as a body job. You can select and print it.
The subject is used as the name of the body job. If a subject is not entered, the name of the body job is "Empty subject".
For information on the supported file formats, see the following.
If you print a PDF file without fonts embedded, the print results may not be as intended because the fonts will be overwritten with other fonts.

Check the e-mail you receive.
E-mail indicating that Cloud Connector has received the print job and the job is being processed (including a job code)
E-mail indicating that the processing of the print job is complete
If the format of the file sent to Cloud Connector is unsupported or the file cannot be printed because it is protected with a password, the e-mail will indicate so.
If the job is not printed for 10 hours after preparations are complete, the job will be deleted.

Step 2: Printing the Sent Data

On the Home screen, press [Print from Email].

Enter the job code, and press [Login].
If you perform user registration, you can log in to enter the same PIN code every time. User registration is recommended if you will use the function repeatedly.

When the list of print jobs is displayed, change the settings as required.
To print all the jobs in the list without changing the settings, proceed to step 4.
 To change the settings:
Select the jobs to print.
Press a job in the list to display a check box for selecting whether to print the job.
Change the print settings.
Press [Edit] on the bottom right of the screen to change the print settings of the selected job.

Files that cannot be printed, such as files in an unsupported format, are not displayed in the list.
For information on the file formats supported by the Email print function, see the following.

Press the button on the bottom right of the screen to start printing.
Files that have finished printing are deleted.

Wait until printing is complete.

Log out to complete the operation.
To return Cloud Connector to the initial screen
Press [Logout] on the top right of the screen.
To exit Cloud Connector
Log out from the multifunction printer, or press [].

Changing the Print Settings

The following settings can be changed. (Some settings may not be available, depending on the model of the printer.)
Number of copies (1 to 9,999)
Color mode (color/black-and-white)
Simplex/Duplex long edge/Duplex short edge
Staple (none/corner/double/saddle stitch)
Jobs may be printed on a paper size that differs from that of the original data, depending on the settings. For information on changing the settings, contact your administrator.
