Registering Shortcuts to Frequently Used Functions
You can register up to four function shortcuts to be displayed at the top of the control panel screen.
The shortcuts are always displayed, so you can call up the functions without returning to the [Home] screen, even while operating other functions.

Use the control panel to add shortcuts. You cannot register shortcuts using Remote UI from a computer.

Log in to the machine as an administrator. Logging In to the Machine

On the control panel, press [
Menu] in the [Home] screen, and then select [Function Shortcut Button Settings]. [Home] Screen

Select the number to which to register the shortcut, and select the function to assign.
The shortcut is placed in the position according to the selected number. You can check the position of the shortcut in the preview display on the left side of the screen.
If you select a number that already has a registered shortcut, the registered details are overwritten.

Press [OK].
The settings are applied.
NOTE
Deleting a Registered Shortcut
On the screen in Step 3, select the number of the shortcut you want to delete, and then select [Unassigned].
