[Set Destination]

Configure the settings for registering destinations and for the Address Book.

* Values in red text indicate the default setting for each item.

Rename Address Lists 1 to 10.

Set the type of address list to be displayed when you call up the Address Book.

Specify the Address Book to be initially displayed when you press [Address Book] on the scan or fax screen.

Set whether to enable access number management, which ensures that the destination is displayed only when the correct access number is entered. Hiding Destinations (Access Number Management)
When you select [On], access numbers can be set for destinations in the Address Book.

Register the LDAP server information when you use an LDAP server to search for destinations. Registering LDAP Servers

Set whether to automatically start a search when you access an LDAP server to register or specify a destination.
When you select [On], the search is started according to the default settings of the LDAP server search conditions. [Change Default LDAP Search Conditions]
The LDAP server registered first (the one displayed at the top of the list) is the target of the automatic search.

Set whether to verify the server certificate when you access an LDAP server using TLS encrypted communication. You can also add the Common Name (CN) to the verification items.

Register the default settings for the LDAP server search conditions.
You can configure the settings for each registered LDAP server.

Set the attributes to use when searching an LDAP server.
You can register the display name and attribute name for [Not Registered 1] and [Not Registered 2].

* You cannot edit or delete items other than the above.

Set the attributes and conditions to use when searching for users by name on an LDAP server.

Set whether to use the personal address list of the login user.

Set whether to use address lists shared between specific users, such as people within the same department.
To use user group address lists, select [On] or [On (Browse Only)] depending on whether destinations can be registered and edited.
