Precautions When Using the Sub Line

Some network functions and services available in the main line are not available in the sub line.

Functions That Cannot Be Used at the Same Time as the Main Line

Functions and Services Limited in the Sub Line

The following network functions are not available in the sub line:
IPv6 Address Settings
IEEE 802.1X Authentication
IPSec
NetBIOS
SIP
FTP (ACTIVE Mode)
DHCP Option Settings
DNS Dynamic Update Settings
Multicast Discovery Settings
IP Address Settings using AutoIP
Firewall Settings using MAC Address Filter
Reference using SMB protocol
 
In accordance with the above, the following functions and services are not available:
Using the MEAP application to build a printing and accounting system that connects to a server
Building an authentication system in an Active Directory server
Sending files from SMB and WebDAV protocols using DNS name resolution or NetBIOS name resolution*1
Automatic search for other devices on the sub line using multicast discovery*1
The following functions referencing the IP address of the main line:
