Reducing Power Consumption (Sleep Mode)

Sleep Mode reduces power consumption by pausing certain operations inside the machine.
Press [ Energy Saver] on the control panel to enter Sleep Mode. Control Panel
The display turns off in Sleep Mode.
* The Processing/Data indicator lights up or blinks.
IMPORTANT
Press [Energy Saver] if the machine will not be used for a long period of time, such as overnight
Put the machine into Sleep Mode as a safety precaution.

Exiting Sleep Mode

Tap the display to exit Sleep Mode.

Configuring Auto Sleep

Auto Sleep automatically places the machine into Sleep Mode if no operations are performed after a certain period of time or at a specified time. In addition to being able to set the time when the machine enters Sleep Mode, you can also configure the machine to exit Sleep Mode at a specified time.
 
This section describes how to configure the settings using Remote UI from a computer.
On the control panel, select [ Settings/Registration] in the [Home] screen or other screen, and then select [Preferences] to configure the settings. [Timer/Energy Settings]

Log in to Remote UI. Starting Remote UI

On the Portal page of Remote UI, click [Settings/Registration]. Remote UI Portal Page

Click [Timer/Energy Settings] [Power Save Settings].
The [Power Save Settings] screen is displayed.

Set Auto Sleep or the time to exit Sleep Mode.
Setting the Time until Sleep Mode
Select the time in [Auto Sleep Time Settings] of [Sleep Settings].
* It is recommended to use the default setting to efficiently save power. [Auto Sleep Time]
Setting the Day and Time to Enter Sleep Mode
Enter the time to enter Sleep Mode in the day of the week input field in [Auto Sleep Weekly Timer] of [Sleep Settings].
* Enter the time using 24-hour format regardless of the time display format setting.
Setting the Time to Exit Sleep Mode
Enter the time in [Sleep Mode Exit Time Settings].
* Enter the time using 24-hour format regardless of the time display format setting.

Click [OK].
The settings are applied.

Log out from Remote UI.
NOTE
Depending on the operation status and conditions of the machine, the machine may not enter Sleep Mode or a full sleep state.
You can specify the order in which necessary functions are activated after the machine exits Sleep Mode. [Sleep Mode Eco Exit]
