Printing and Scanning from an Android Device
You can print and scan data from an application that has a print function.
In addition, you can print and scan data using common plugins of Mopria
®.
Using Mopria® to Print and ScanUsing a Dedicated Plugin to Print and Scan (Canon Print Service)
You can use the dedicated Canon plugin, Canon Print Service, to print and scan from any application.
It also supports Department ID Management. Even when printing with an unknown Department ID is restricted, you can print by setting a Department ID.

Usage
Register the machine to Canon Print Service.
When a mobile device is connected to the machine via LAN and you register the machine, the IP address information of the machine is required. You can check the IP address with the [Home] screen of the control panel

[Mobile Portal]

[LAN Connection].

Using the OS Standard Function to Print and Scan Data (Default Print Service)
You can use the function that is standard in the OS (Default Print Service) to print and scan from any application.
If your version of Android supports Default Print Service, you can print and scan data without having to install a dedicated application or plugin.
Usage
Make sure that Canon Print Service and Mopria® Print Service are not installed in the mobile device or are disabled.

When the Machine Is Using User Authentication or Department ID Management
You cannot use Default Print Service to print and scan when printing and scanning from a computer with unknown user information or Department ID is restricted.
