Adjusting the Volume (for Models with the Fax Function)
You can adjust the volume of sound emitted by the machine. You can also set the machine so that no sound is emitted.
* The volume and sound settings are applied only to the standard line (Line 1). They are not applied to the remote fax (client) function.
Adjusting the Volume for Sending and Receiving Faxes

On the [Home] screen of the control panel, press [Volume Settings]. [Home] Screen
The [Fax Volume Settings] screen appears.

Adjust the volume.

* The volume increases when you move the slider to the right. The sound is muted if you move the slider to the far left.

Press [] or [] to adjust the volume of the sound emitted when sending a fax.

[Incoming Ring Volume]
Press [] or [] to adjust the volume of incoming faxes when [RX Mode] is set to [Fax/Tel(Auto Switch)].

The volume settings are applied.
Setting the Incoming Fax Tone
You can set the incoming fax tone not only when your machine has a fax function but also when a commercial telephone is connected.

On the [Home] screen of the control panel, press [Volume Settings]. [Home] Screen
The [Fax Volume Settings] screen appears.

Press [Incoming Fax Ring].
The [Incoming Fax Ring] screen appears.

Set the incoming tone.
Select [On] to emit the incoming tone or [Off] to not.

Select the incoming tone count.
Set the count using [-]/[+] or the numeric keys.

Press [OK] 
[OK].
[OK].The incoming tone settings are applied.
NOTE
Even if the incoming tone is set to [Off], the incoming tone will be emitted when a fax arrives during the Sleep mode if the power consumption during Sleep mode is set to low.
