Enhancing Security to Prevent Others from Printing Out a Document (Secure Print) (macOS) (LBP674Cx / LBP673Cdw / LBP248x / LBP246dw)
How to set a PIN when printing a document from a computer so that others cannot print the document without entering the PIN on the control panel of the machine is described here.
Perform step 1 to step 3.
Step 1 Enabling Secure Print in a computer

Click [System Preferences] [Printers & Scanners].

Select this machine from the list of printers.

Click [Options & Supplies].

On the [Options] tab, select the [Secured Print] check box, and click [OK].
Step 2 Setting a PIN when printing from a computer

Select [Print] in the [File] menu of the application.

Select the machine in [Printer].

Select [Special Features] in the pop-up menu.

In [Job Processing], select [Secured Print].

Click [Print].

Enter the [Document Name], [User Name], and [PIN], and click [OK].
The print data is sent to the machine, and saved in memory as a waiting document.
On the touch panel model, select the check box for the secured document to print, and select <Start>. You can select and print multiple secured documents that are secured by the same PIN.
If a screen to select a user appears, select your user name.
When using a touch panel model, you can select and delete multiple secured documents at the same time. Select the check box for the secured document to delete, and select <Delete>.

Enter the PIN, and press <Apply> ().
If you selected multiple documents with different PINs in step 2, a message is displayed. Select <Close>, and then select the secured documents again in step 2.
