You can copy or duplicate an existing document/folder.

Duplicating Files Using the Drag and Drop Operation
In addition, refer to the following as necessary.
Note
You cannot select the recycle bin as the copy destination. If you select the recycle bin as the copy destination for a folder, the folder is not copied but is only moved.
During the process of generating the preview of a document within the folder selected in the File List View Pane, you cannot copy/duplicate the folder.
If the [Select operation when moving/copying documents/folders of the same name] check box is selected and a document/folder with the same name exists in the destination to copy to, a dialog box confirming whether you want to overwrite the file is displayed. If you want to overwrite the file, click [Yes] or [Apply to All] without selecting the [Keep both the current document and the new document] check box.
[Settings] > [System Settings] > [Browser] > [Edit/Operation Documents] > [Select operation when moving/copying documents/folders of the same name]
When you copy/duplicate a document/folder, the properties and memos are set as follows.
[Date Created], [Date Modified]:
Set to the date when the document is copied/duplicated. However, if another document with the same name already exists at the copy destination and it is overwritten, [Date Created] will retain the date set for the overwritten document. In addition, depending on the libraries at the destination and source, the date of the document becomes the time when it was moved.
[Name], [Type], [Extensions], [Size]:
These properties will be copied.
Other properties, memos:
Other properties and memos are copied to the duplicated document for the following destinations.
Libraries of the same type (except for Document Server Library)
Document Server Library in the same site
In other cases, only items with a matching name and type are copied if [Copy the values of entries with matching property settings] is selected. Memos are also copied if they can be handled by the destination library.
When it is not selected, nothing is copied, including memos.
[Settings] > [System Settings] > [Browser] > [Edit/Operation Documents] > [Copy the values of entries with matching property settings]
If you copy/duplicate a document with an attribute such as "Read-only" (Windows), the attribute will be invalidated.

Copying & Pasting Documents

1.
Select a document(s)/folder(s) to copy in the File List View Pane.
2.
Click (Copy) on the Toolbar.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Select the [Edit] menu > [Copy].
Right-click and select [Copy].
3.
Select the copy destination library or folder in the Navigation Pane or File List View Pane.
4.
Click  (Paste) on the Toolbar.
Or, follow one of the steps described below.
Select the [Edit] menu > [Paste].
Right-click and select [Paste].
The document/folder is copied to the selected location.
Note
When you copy a document/folder to a Document Server Library or SharePoint Server Library for which [Create Version] is enabled, the [Enter Version Comments] dialog box is displayed.
You can set the [Enter Version Comments] dialog box to not display. For more information, see the following.
If the source and destination libraries to which a folder/document is moved are the same, the [Register Document] and [Enter Version Comments] dialog boxes are not displayed.
If buttons are not displayed on the Desktop Browser Toolbar, set the buttons on the Toolbar. For more information, see the following.
If the copy source and destination locations are the same folder, the copied document/folder is saved with (2), (3), etc. appended at the end of its original document name.
If the copy source and destination are different folders, a document/folder with the same name exists in the destination, and the document/folder is not overwritten, the moved document/folder is saved with - Copy, - Copy (2), - Copy (3), etc. appended at the end of its original name.

Duplicating from the [Edit] Menu

1.
Select a document(s)/folder(s) to duplicate in the File List View Pane, and then select the [Edit] menu > [Duplicate].
Or, right-click on the File List View Pane and select [Duplicate].
The document/folder is duplicated in the same location as the selected folder.
Note
When saving duplicated documents/folders, (2), (3), etc. is appended at the end of its original name.

Duplicating Files Using the Drag and Drop Operation

1.
Select a document(s)/folder(s) you want to duplicate in the File List View Pane.
2.
Drag the document/folder while pressing the [Ctrl] key on the keyboard and drop it in the duplication destination.
The document/folder is duplicated in the location where you dropped it.
Note
If the copy source and destination locations are the same folder, the copied document/folder is saved with (2), (3), etc. appended at the end of its original document name.
If the copy source and destination are different folders, a document/folder with the same name exists in the destination, and the document/folder is not overwritten, the moved document/folder is saved with – Copy, - Copy (2), - Copy (3), etc. appended at the end of its original name.
When you create a duplicate of a document/folder in a Document Server Library or SharePoint Server Library for which [Create Version] is enabled, the [Enter Version Comments] dialog box is displayed.
You can set the [Enter Version Comments] dialog box to not display. For more information, see the following.
If the source and destination libraries to which a folder/document is copied are the same, the [Register Document] and [Enter Version Comments] dialog boxes are not displayed.
When the [Confirm if the document you dragged has been moved or copied] check box is selected, a sub menu prompting you to select either moving or copying is displayed. If you want to copy the document, select [Copy Here].
