Adding Application Output Icons

By registering an external application such as Microsoft Office in the Output Bar of Desktop Browser, you can start that application from the Desktop Browser screen.

The settings of the application output icons can be changed as necessary.
You can change the order of the application output icons in the Output Bar by dragging and dropping them.
In addition, refer to the following as necessary.

You can add an application output icon on the Output Bar by dragging and dropping it. However, when you add it by dragging and dropping, you cannot configure the advanced settings. If advanced settings are necessary, see the following.

Drag the following icon and drop it to the Output Bar of the Desktop Browser screen.
The icon of an executable file (*.exe) for an added application
The icon of the link file (*.lnk) associated with the executable file for an added application
The application output icon is added to the Output Bar.

Adding the Application Output Icon by Configuring the Advanced Settings

Select the [Tools] menu > [Output Bar Settings] > [Create] > [Application].
Or, right-click the Output Bar and select [Create] > [Application].
The [Application Settings] dialog box is displayed.

Specify an external application to add in the Output Bar in the [Application Settings] dialog box.
The items to be configured in the [Application Settings] dialog box are as follows:
[Application File Name]
Specify the executable file of the external application to register in the Output Bar. Click [Browse] and select the desired option in the displayed dialog box.
[Select Process]
Sets the processing method when multiple files are selected.
[Execute by document]
Select this to execute each document separately.
[Execute multiple documents at once]
Select this to execute multiple documents at the same time.
[Button Name]
Enter a button name for the button to display in the Output Bar.
[Button Image]
Select to specify the image to display in the button.
[Restore default]
Select to use the default image.
The icons of an external application are used.
[Change image]
Select to specify an image to use. Click [Browse] and select the desired image in the displayed dialog box.
Note
Specify the path of the executable file of the external application using 259 or less characters when entering it into [Application File Name] directly. The characters which can be used for the executable file of the registered application are available.
When you specify the image by selecting [Button Image] > [Change image], specify the path to the image using up to 259 characters.

Click [OK].
The application output icon is added at the bottom of the Output Bar.
