Reducing Margins Together

In the block edit mode of Object Layout Editor, you can reduce margins on a binder document.
This section describes how to reduce margins consecutively between two adjacent pages within a specified range of pages. After processing, only margins detected in empty areas are deleted.

If a document includes only one page, you cannot use the [Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages] menu and (Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages).
Pages with attached annotations are excluded when reducing margins. Because of this, if [Delete Specified Area] is set in [Specify Area Not to Edit], the specified areas are not deleted.
Table of contents pages and pages with attached annotations and digital stamps are excluded when reducing margins.
If pages with attached annotations and digital stamps, or table of contents pages are set to [Delete Specified Area] in [Specify Area Not to Edit], the specified areas are not deleted.
Also see the following as necessary.

Click (Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages) on the Toolbar.
Or, select the [Blocks] menu > [Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages].
The [Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages] dialog box is displayed.
Note
If (Reduce Block Margins on Displayed Pages) is displayed, click and select [Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages].
If a document includes only one page, you cannot use the [Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages] menu and (Reduce Block Margins on Consecutive Pages).

Specify the range of pages in which margins are reduced in [Start Page] and [End Page] and then click [OK].
The margins are reduced.
When the process is complete, a confirmation message will be displayed.

Click [OK].
Note
If [Delete Specified Area] or [Fix Specified Area] is set in Specify Area Not to Edit, the margins in that area are reduced according to the settings. For more information, see the following.
