Disconnecting a Database
You can use databases similar to the following. Specify the file name and connect to the database.

Specifying the Database after Starting Variable Editor

1.
Select the [Database] menu > [Database Connection/Settings].
The [Database Connection/Settings] dialog box is displayed.
2.
Click [Browse] in [Database Path].
The [Open] dialog box is displayed.
3.
Select the file, and click [Open].
The field that will be used is displayed in the [Database Connection/Settings] dialog box and [Database] in the Object Palette Pane.
The [Database Connection/Settings] dialog box is displayed again.
4.
Click [OK].
Note
When setting an Excel file with multiple sheets as a connection destination, you can select a sheet to use as a database in [Database Table].
Follow the same procedure when changing the database you want to use.

Disconnecting a Database

You can disconnect a database that is currently connected.
1.
Select the [Database] menu > [Disconnect Database].
The connected database is disconnected.

By disconnecting the database, placed fields can no longer be previewed. Reconnecting to the database enables you to preview them again.
